Arizona Rangers Quarterly Shootout

August 10th 2002

In 2002 the Capital -N- Ranch hosted Arizona Rangers Cowboy Action Shooting Club's third Quarterly Shootout in the Trail Creek Valley. Light refreshments was served at the Cowboy Camp before Shooters Meeting. The shootout was open to other regional clubs as well, and shooters from both Texas Longhorn Shooters and Christiania Regulators joined in.

Two stages was shot in the Valley, the scenario that was played out was the capture of San Juan Hill during the American Cuba invasion in 1898.

After two successful stages it was set for Chuck Wagon Dinner back at the Cowboy Camp, where hungry shooters after some grub and soda showed off their roping and riding skills.

The shootout was focused on the social aspect of a shooters-get-together, and with great results and plenty of good feedback in that regard.

When the Cowboy Action Shooters were done and had regrouped into Rock River City they were fed Capital -N- stew by our cook at the Chuck Wagon Camp.

Only a few moments later the rest of the invited guests started arriving.
